This is a nice video demonstrate a pyramid-style workout. This session requires kettlebells, but you can use dumbbells too. Pyramid workouts are just more fun to do. The most important thing is to get some pleasure in working out the right way. What is the point of using kettle bells? Kettle bells are just weights. The shape of the weight, in this case, a ball with handle, adds a little more instability and challenge. Do we need to buy Kettlebells? Not necessarily so. You can also use a rock, and that will pose more of a challenge. The workout breakdown is as follows:
-
- Alternating Reverse lunge – 8x, 10x, 12x, 10x, 8x
-
- Vertical pull up burpee – 8x, 10x, 12x, 10x, 8x
-
- Dynamic Pushups – 8x, 10x, 12x, 10x, 8x
-
- Chin ups – 3x, 4x, 5x, 4x, 3x,
- Heavy double swings 6x, 8x, 10x, 8x, 6x
There are 5 rounds, so do exercises 1 through 5, with the first set of reps, then continue with the second round. Your first round will look like this:
- Alternating Reverse lunge – 8x,
